“If you’re looking for a fantastic adventure with a company that will treat you like family, look no further” We had the great fortune to have Tarun as a tour guide for a few hours in Delhi. Having been to Delhi before, I was not expecting much of the two hours we had with him but he managed to surprise me with a unique experience. From winding through the streets on motorbike in typical Indian style to getting a peaceful retreat in a Sikh temple learning about Sikhism, we felt like we were being shown around town by a close friend rather than a stranger. In the brief time we were with him, we found out about the humble beginnings of this family-run business, some favourite moments of his childhood and his passions about travel. It was a very refreshing change from the typical outing where people get herded from place to place like sheep and just told bland and boring facts. It definitely made the experience all the more special. We got in a bind later that evening with train delays and gave Tarun a call to see if he can arrange a driver to get us to the next city in our trip. We thought it was a long shot since we called him very last minute… at 7 p.m…. On a weekend… And it was a 5 hour drive one way to our destination. But he said: “No problem” and quoted us a very reasonable price for the ride. Next thing we know, he’s meeting us at the train station with the full intent of driving us personally! He even got us to his house to make sure we got a healthy and clean dinner… Made by his mom! On top of it all, we got to meet his fantastic family! If you are even considering India at all, don’t hesitate to contact this company. This is run by a guy who is passionate in what he does and will treat even a person who he’s met only a couple of hours like family. I would absolutely go on a tour again with Tarun next time I visit India.

Just a quick note about the wonders of Tarun. We had a relatively short time to pull our trip together and he suggested/planned/arranged everything. He booked us a driver for the Golden Triangle–a great guy, and he himself took us for the second part of the trip. We probably did the standard tourist things (due to lack of time), but having Tarun along made everything better. He was knowledgeable, fun, accommodating, and unfailingly cheerful. He listened to what we wanted out of the trip and planned accordingly. Can’t wait until he gets over to the States and we can return the favor.

Unbelievable!! We had the best time on our trip to India. I would highly recommend this to anyone traveling to India. Our driver (Sushil) was wonderful, he made our trip so much better in so many ways. Going through Adventure Holiday Tours gave us the ability to see what we wanted in the time we had without the stress of everday travel. We met Tarun and his dad while traveling in India, and he definitely helped us have a GREAT trip. Tarun was our guide while in Delhi, and then set us up with a driver at a very good price (we shopped around and his prices were good compared to the rest!) and we got to see SO much more than if we had tried to do it all on the trains. Also, there was some sort of highway/bus strike while we were there, so all the roads were shut down. Our driver did his best to find alternative routes and get us to our destination on our scheduled time, even though it meant him driving at like 3am! We really enjoyed our trip and getting to know Tarun and his family. I really made our trip to India memorable!
